About me

I am currently a post-doctoral fellow in linguistics at McGill University, funded through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.  Before that, I did my PhD in linguistics at MIT.  My research focuses on natural language semantics, with the question diriving much of my work being: how does interpretation interact with other aspects of grammar and cognition?  I look at the interfaces of semantics with syntax, pragmatics, prosody, and language processing. Other interests are in syntax, the syntax/prosody interface, and experimental methods.
